Membership Dues

A calendar for artists paint-out dates is created annually.  (Some paint-outs are held over a 2-day period, and artists may attend one or both days. Some months offer more than one paint-out.) Visit our "HOME" page for more information.

Water's Edge Artists participate in a variety of other activities and openly share their time and talent.

Artists may participate in critiques at each paint out to learn from other artists and improve their skills.

Members will have samples of their art on the site, contact info if they choose, and a link to their personal web site if they have one.

Six general meetings are held per year, with artists' critiques at each meeting. Artists are encouraged to be involved in various committees.

WEA offers sanctioned, organized, and sponsored events where members have an opportunity to sell their art.

The Rahr-West Museum Annual Exhibit "The Art of Preservation" is a juried show for members only, and is very prestigious. Visit our "Events" page for more information!

WEA maintains an active organization of artist members and frequently provides opportunities for art sales through a variety of events, including paint-outs and exhibits.

A percentage of artwork sales goes to support preservation and historic organizations.
